Westbrook to the LA Lakers!

The Washington Wizards agreed to trade superstar Russell Westbrook to the LA Lakers yesterday. The Wizards received a great package of Kyle Kuzma, Kentavious Caldwell-Pope, Montrezl Harrell and a draft pick. This is a huge and impactful trade for the entire NBA. The Lakers now have their own big 3 of LeBron, AD, and Westbrook. They will be a PROBLEM for any team next year, it is hard to think that the Lakers aren't the favorites for the 2022 NBA Championship. I also think Westbrook deserves a championship, he's been traded and moved around to different teams for that last few seasons playing with OKC, Houston, Washington and now LA. The Wizards came out of this trade smiling and happy, they now have a great young core to build around and support Bradley Beal who is a superstar and who recently came out and said he wanted to be on the Wizards for the foreseeable future. 

As a basketball fan I am truly just excited to see LA's new big 3 on the court. The combination of Westbrook, AD, and LeBron will be so exciting and the highlight reel for these 3 together is going to be on Sportcenter's top ten weekly. Westbrook is also a California native, he attended UCLA and him being in his hometown Lakers jersey just feels right! It is amazing to think that the NBA Finals next year could be the Nets versus the Lakers which would be basically an all-star game with Westbrook, LeBron, AD, KD, Kyrie, and James Harden all on the court! I am excited to see what else this offseason brings!
