The Notorious Conor McGregor (22-5) will be making his return to the octagon for the trilogy fight versus Dustin "The Diamond" Poirier (27-6). This bout has implications for the victor receiving a UFC Lightweight World Championship (155lbs) title shot versus current champion, Charles Olivera. Conor and Dustin have fought twice before, each competitor earning a victory by knockout. With each fighter having a win over the other, this third fight holds a lot of value especially with a championship fight on the line. Both fighters are strikers and have a combined 18 knockouts in the UFC. They both will be looking for a knockout finish.
